November Favorites!

It was a very beautiful month. Full of activities, friends and a lot of fun. But I am half- glad that it is over because I can finally start decorating for Christmas - my absolute favorite time of the whole year.  I am also very excited to introduce you to a new Christmas/Holiday project I am working on but you will have to wait... It is worth it! Until them enjoy my favorite selection for the month of November and have a happy December :)

Skin and body care

Winter = dry skin and dead cells which calls for scrubbing. And I am loving this one by Dirty Works. It is just  the perfect formula- not too gentle not too harsh and it smells very winter-y which is the best. Skin feels so smooth after shower and I am sure it appreciates my choice ;)
Same happens to my hair. It gets very dry and frizzy and hungry for nourish and deep conditioning. The product that has worked best for me is the Frizz Ease Leave-in conditioner by John Frieda. I spray a little bit of this every morning on my hair and I can immediately feel some more smoothness. It also helps me a lot  my super tangled hair and it has an amazing scent.

Make-up

NYX is one of my favorite makeup brands and if I had to choose a product it would be their lipsticks. The color selection is to-die-for. I purchased this beautiful mauve/lavender cover a couple of weeks ago and I have been reaching for it every day since. I think it is the cutest shade of purple for those winter days when you don't feel like wearing a bold lip.
And now to the most favorite product of the whole month. The Younique Moodstruck 3D Fiber Lashes Mascara. I have a full review and demo coming up on this amazing mascara which will be up soon. I am only going to say: my lashes have never looked longer and fuller. Love it!

Clothes and Fashion accessories

Boots, boots and boots. My favorite thing to wear during fall/winter. I finally found the most comfortable everyday short booties and the most beautiful tall boots. I have been wearing them non-stop. The short ones go with almost everything and they are perfect for shopping days or get-together with friends when you want to look cute but also be comfortable. And the tall ones...I just love the details on the top and they are surprisingly very comfortable too. I am set for every occasion!

Random

The last few favorites I have shown you a lot of nail polishes. This month I am changing to Nail Stickers. These are so easy to use, quick and fashionable. The New York magazine design is my favorite of all. Just peel, stick, fit and ready to go!
Yogi Stomach Ease has been my tea for these cold nights. So relaxing!

My favorite show: The Carrie Diaries

My favorite songs:

Selena Gomez - The Heart Wants What It Wants (Official Video)

Meghan Trainor - Lips Are Movin

This is all my loves. I hope you had a nice November and I wish you a happy joyful December. I will see you soon!

Ipsy Glam Bag - November 2014

Girl Meets Glitter

Ladies I am sooo excited for this month's theme. Mostly because it involves Glitter. Not only I love glitter but it also is the perfect time to wear it whenever and wherever with no excuse. The holidays are approaching and what better than glitter to make you glow and look fabulous ?
I also have some exciting news!!! My friend, Anxhela, subscribed to Ipsy and she is now receiving monthly bags. She gave me permission to share with you her bag, so I will have extra goodies to share with you :) Let's get started!

Here is a shot of both our bags:

My bag:

1. SeaRx Micro-Dermabrasion Face & Body Scrub - The tube is really small, enough products to be used only once. The scrub itself utilizes an advances crystal blends system which removes the dead skin and leaves it smooth after scrubbing. It also has a very pleasant scent close to "tangerines". I can't tell you if it's a good product but I can tell you that the reviews are really good. Find the full size products here for $32.00.

2. Be a Bombshell Cosmetics Eyebase -  in the shade Submissive. We both got this product and we are loving it. The color is beautiful, very natural and it has a soft texture which applies smoothly and looks amazing. You can also build up the product for a more intensive color. The light glitter in it and it's soft shine-s makes this eye base more perfect. You can purchase it here for $14.00

3. IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye - A full-coverage anti-aging waterproof concealer in the shade Neutral Medium. Again a very small tube with tiny bit of product but it works amazing. It has a full coverage and doesn't crack at all. the full size is available here for $24.00

4. Marc Anthony Oil of Morocco Argan Oil - it is a sulfate free hairspray which gives shine, volume and extra hold to your hair. I am pretty impressed with the ingredients of these hairspray - the keratin, the argan  and grape seed oil, really feed the hair and make it shine. It is a really good product and I really liked it when I first used it. It is available at Wallgreens for $8.29

5. Starlooks Lip Gloss- in the shade Guilty Pleasure. The formula is perfect: pigmented, shiny, not sticky and all and it lasts for a long time. As for the color - it is one of my favorites - so glamorous for the holidays yet natural and simple. I love it. Find the full size product here and get 20% off all cosmetic orders.

Those were all my products, now let's have a look on Anxhela's bag.

1. Starlooks Gem Eye Pencil - on shade Ultra Violet. I so love this pencil. The color itself is gorgeous and the glitter even more. It looks so beautiful and highlights her brown eyes. Definitely worth having it... and more colors are available here for $17.00

2. be Delectable from Cake Beauty Hand Cream - in the scent coconut and cream. It smells sooo good and cream is not greasy at all. I used it in my hands which felt very smooth afterwards and I loved it. I couldn't find a link where to purchase it so I am sorry :(

3. GlamGlow Powermud DualCleanse Treatment - GlamGlow has amazing products and I have heard good things about the powermud. I bet she is very happy for receiving it too. Find the full size here for 69.00 and let me know if you'd like a 30% off :)

4. J.Cat Beauty Wonder Lip paint - in the shade Mad Splatter. It is a pretty color for fall and winter. The product inside is very liquid-y but very pigmented and look beautiful on the lips. The only thing she noticed are the "marks" it leaves after a while. I guess that's why they call it a lip paint! I personally like it and I think it would go perfectly with a clear gloss on top. Purchase your here for $4.99

5. Same as my Be a Bombshell eyebase :)

As the tradition calls, here are our faces using Ipsy's products :)

I hope you liked it!

Friday's Casual Photoshoot

Hello friends!

Today my friend Anxhela and I, had the day-off from work and we decided to go dress-shopping for all the holiday's events we have. We started with a quick coffee, some grocery shopping and wondering around the mall. It was a long day but we had so much fun!
If you know me, you would have noticed that I love my little camera and I never leave the house without it in my bag (or neck :P ) So while we were drinking our coffee and walking around the San Marco area, she was kindly enough to take some pictures of my outfit. I wanted to share this pictures with you, as well as some of our cute-adorable selfies!

Elizabeth Arden - Product Review

Good Night's Sleep Restoring Cream

Happy Saturday loves!

I have an other product review for you today. Last month I purchased a hydrating mask from the Elizabeth Arden line and I was very impressed with it. So I decided to go on a shopping trip down Arden's department and find out more.It has been a while since I have been haunting for a nice day/night cream. Fall and winter are not the best influence on my skin. It gets really dry! Like REALLY dry!

As soon as my eyes caught this cream, I knew it was for me. I wake up early in the morning and I do not have much time to apply full face makeup or wait for a cream to be absorbed and then apply foundation. This is why I include skincare in my evening routine. I clean, wash, nourish, treat my face and I apply this cream as the last step before I go to sleep.

The cream itself feels very soft when applied. Its texture is typical of the "creams" - not too thick, very lightweight. I use a small amount to cover all my face and it is enough. I can immediately feel moisturized and fresh. It has a very light flower-y scent - which is a plus for me: I can't stand heavy-scented face creams.
Now to the most important point - the restoring effect. I saw some difference on my skin since the first time I used it. The next morning my face was more nourished, moisturized, and glow-y. Today, after using it every night for almost a month and I can totally see a difference. My skin is softer and cleared from some dark spots.
It is an amazing cream my loves! I have also used it during the day and it works just fine. Definitely check it out if you are looking for an everyday cream. Find it here!

Thanks for reading me and have a nice weekend!

xoxo, Marjana

October Favorites!

Honestly, I cannot believe how fast the days are passing by - we have a new month all of a sudden. The "Turkey" month!!! It is that time of the year when we celebrate so much - thanksgiving, food, decorations, parties, gifts, dinners, clothes and so much more...

But hey let's not get tooooo excited yet. Back to the main point of this post: everything I have been loving this past month.

Skin and body care

You know I loved my Clean&Clear acne cleanser last month, so I purchased the acne spot treatment. Just as great as the cleanser. The salicylic acid is amazing for acnes, or just beak-outs in general. One dot over the spot and they are almost vanished.
Tip: Use the salicylic acid a couple of days before the "period breakouts" and it would help with them not coming out on the surface of the skin. Girls you know what I mean!

Fall brought some chilly winds and my dry skin back. This is why I have been using a facial oil. I recently discovered Botanics, a new brand that offers 100% organic products. And I am in love with it. The oil has a very nice lemon-y scent and it feels so good when I apply it on my face. If you have a dry face THIS IS what you need. Find it on Target or here.

Make-up

New mascara time! And one of the most difficult decisions when it comes to make-up shopping. But I trusted the reviews of the many many bloggers and the good words of the magazines and ended up purchasing the Covergirl Bombshell 2in1. It is a BLAST! The results I get are big, long, voluminous lashes! Try it!

The second make-up products is this cute little trio from Black Radiance. If you have seen my Despicable me and Ice Queen Halloween Makeup Looks and wondering what I used well...here is your answer. This beautiful, very pigmented eyeshadows in shade Alluring. Find it here for just $2.99

Clothes and Fashion accessories

My two favorite accessories from last month are these four little earrings and the small red bag. I purchased the earrings at the Greek Festival last month and I love all of them; the nautical wheel, the good luck turtle, the night owl and the henna. So cute! And as for the bag, I bought it at a thrift store for only $4. Yes! It was actually brand new!

Random

And more nail polish...My collections is growing and I am running out of space! Well these two were in the Halloween Isle and I could not resist. October has literally been their month; the two only nail polishes I used.
Left - Hit the Floor
Right - Silver Star

My favorite show: Hart of Dixie

My favorite songs:

Taylor Swift - Shake It Off

Maroon 5 - Animals

Nicki Minaj - Anaconda

And this is it for this month too. I know it was short but I had to pick the products I have really used and loved the most. October was a perfect month, full of surprises and great moments. I just hope November will be as good or even better!

See you next time,
xoxo Marjana

Halloween Day 2014!

Hey friends!
I hope you had a wonderful time last night and lots of fun.
My girl, Anxhela and I, happened to be working in the morning. And we could not resist painting our faces in something cute not-too-scary character. What better than a kitty cat? And a witch's hat?
Classic!

Later in the evening, we got our beloved husbands and went out for drinks. Dressed seriously this time. We had some Cosmopolitan drinks and fries and a very chill wind. That made us leave the Black Sheep and go to Casbah Cafe Hookah Bar. I had a blast. So many familiar faces, good food, company and lots of fun. I couldn't stop laughing.

I had such a good time last night! I hope you did too :)
See you next time,
xoxo Marjana
