Lake Geneva!

I was supposed to post this a couple of days after the trip but the other posts came up first, so I am finally doing it right now.

A couple of weeks ago my hubby and I decided to go on a short trip.  So we did some research and chose Lake Geneva in Wisconsin. I am very happy that we did so. The weather was so nice, not too cold not too hot and a little bit windy. The small village was really cute, it had a lot of vintage and antique stores and coffee shops. One thing I really liked about it was the fact that almost all the stores and coffee shops were "inside" the houses. I thought this made them more cozy and welcome-ish for the visitors. The nature was beautiful but the lake was still half-frozen :P

All in all it was a beautiful trip and I will do it again! Enjoy the pictures and the Video!
Love you, Marjana

Easter from my lovely Korca!

Easter is my second favorite religious celebration after Christmas! The Holy week has its own beauty and brings everyone together! There is no other city on Earth that celebrates Easter in the way my city does! Here are some photos taken by professional photographers.

I know you will love them,

Cute and Fun DIY gifts for Easter!

Hello there!
I admit I am a little bit late for this kind of post, but I really wanted to share it with you. I found out that I am having some children over for Easter's dinner and I wanted to surprise them with a cute gift but I wanted it to be fun and cute for them too. So I realized I would create two customized buckets - one for the little girl and one for the boy. It took only 10 mins to put everything together and I really love them. I hope you enjoy this video and I hope I gave you some ideas for your gift - if you are a person that leaves everything for the last minute like I do.

Happy Easter 2014!

#TBT - Postcards from Ballsh (November 2012)

To continue the #TBT "series" today I want to share with you a trip to Ballsh. Ballsh is my friend's hometown and after having her in my city, we decided to go and have some fun at hers. This is a small city at the south-east of Albania, created relatively late from people who worked at the huge fuel oil's factory. Despite the fact of being small, it is a very well structured city with a nice architecture. Surprisingly, the stores had high quality and expensive merchandise - grocery, fashion, anything.

What I most liked about this city is people's warm welcome and their food. OMG! They have some different traditional dishes which are super delish. I stayed at my friend's two nights and three days, and never had the same dish - there was always something new to me. On the second day there, we went to an archaeological cite, Bylis. It is a very ancient city with historical and cultural values and very important to Albania's history. Not much left of it, but still beautiful.

Enjoy the pictures,
XOXO Marjana
