Spooky Smoothie! - #TastyTuesday

It's pumpkin season! The internet is buzzing in recipes, which have pumpkin as their main ingredient. Pies, cupcakes, soups, hot and cold drinks.. Today I share with you this simple smoothie recipe that I came up with at work.
As some of you know, I work at a juice and smoothie bar. Everything we make is freshly prepared in front of your eyes with high quality and organic products. The menu has a lot of varieties, for anyone's taste, but we were missing something new for the season. So we decided to experiment with pumpkin. After a couple of tries, we had a winner...Spooky Smoothie!

For a 16 oz smoothie you will need:



- 1cup of apple juice
- 1/2 frozen banana
- 1cup frozen pumpkin
- ginger
- cinnamon
- dates/agave to sweeten
- 1 scoop of vanilla frozen yogurt (optional)

Add all the ingredients in a blender and mix until creamy. Sprinkle some cinnamon on top and Enjoy!
