Ipsy Glam Bag - February 2015 and a little extra!

My monthly Ipsy bag has arrived! And it is full of love as its theme suggests #ipsyLove! Of course... it is, after all, the month of Love. All the products were just lovely. I love the colors and formulas. The bag is cute, a beautiful pink and diamond shaped decorations breaking the color monotony with gray and white. The only thing I was sad about is the beautiful purple eye pencil that was broken inside the envelope :( It's OK though, I can still use it.
Well, what are you waiting for? Scroll down to find out all about February's Bag!

Eva NYC Up All Night Volumizing Spray - Another hair product...a very good one but the only thing is that I really don't need volume :( My hair has a lot of it. I was very skeptical about it, but I tried it one night on wet hair and I actually liked it! It smells really good and I think it is a very good product, but honestly I wouldn't purchase it because it is not for me! the full size product costs $24.00 and you will find it here

Hey Honey Hey Honey - Take It Off! Exfoliating Honey Peel Off Mask- I was planning on buying this product and I am so glad I got it on this bag. This mask is amazing. It works wonders and I love it. My skin feels clean, refreshed and new after peeling it. And it also smells amazing ( the scent is crucial :P lol ) I definitely recommend it, do not hesitate to purchase it. It is actually on sale on the website for only $29.00 so go grab one as quick as you can!

"Pencil Me In" Cosmetics Natural Eye Liner Pencil - I was so excited when I found out this pencil was in my bag. Purple is my favorite color and I love to use it on my eyes. But when I opened the envelope...the pencil was broken :(  It is very pigmented but not smooth at all. It is so hard to apply on the eyes. I tried a million times to line both my upper and lower lash line and it looks awful. It also has a sharpener attached to its cap which makes it very convenient, but I don't I will be using it a lot. Very disappointing! If you want to give it a try you can find it here for $6.99. Mine is in the color Amethyst.

ModelCo BLUSH Cheek Powder - Such a cute peach-y color. Very pigmented and natural looking on my cheeks. I have a feeling this blush is the one I would be using almost everyday. It is a little bit pricey but I think it is worth it. You can find it here for $22.00

CARGO Cosmetics Mini Lip Gloss - in shade Anguilla. This lipgloss is very creamy, glossy and moisturizing. The color is cute, a pale pink and I like it. I love having mini products, easy to carry around and this one would be in my carry bag. But being this pale, the color doesn't go well with my skin tone. I totally think it will look good on warmer skin tones. It is only $16.00 and you can find it here

The only think it looked good on me was the blush. For that reason I don't have a makeup picture this month. I didn't want to post something that doesn't look good at all using products that I don't like.

But I decided to share with you some pictures from Valentine's Day. I surprised hubby that day by decorating the room with hearts, balloons and a huge card. Enjoy the pictures and I will see you soon :)

Ipsy Glam Bag - November 2014

Girl Meets Glitter

Ladies I am sooo excited for this month's theme. Mostly because it involves Glitter. Not only I love glitter but it also is the perfect time to wear it whenever and wherever with no excuse. The holidays are approaching and what better than glitter to make you glow and look fabulous ?
I also have some exciting news!!! My friend, Anxhela, subscribed to Ipsy and she is now receiving monthly bags. She gave me permission to share with you her bag, so I will have extra goodies to share with you :) Let's get started!

Here is a shot of both our bags:

My bag:

1. SeaRx Micro-Dermabrasion Face & Body Scrub - The tube is really small, enough products to be used only once. The scrub itself utilizes an advances crystal blends system which removes the dead skin and leaves it smooth after scrubbing. It also has a very pleasant scent close to "tangerines". I can't tell you if it's a good product but I can tell you that the reviews are really good. Find the full size products here for $32.00.

2. Be a Bombshell Cosmetics Eyebase -  in the shade Submissive. We both got this product and we are loving it. The color is beautiful, very natural and it has a soft texture which applies smoothly and looks amazing. You can also build up the product for a more intensive color. The light glitter in it and it's soft shine-s makes this eye base more perfect. You can purchase it here for $14.00

3. IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Under Eye - A full-coverage anti-aging waterproof concealer in the shade Neutral Medium. Again a very small tube with tiny bit of product but it works amazing. It has a full coverage and doesn't crack at all. the full size is available here for $24.00

4. Marc Anthony Oil of Morocco Argan Oil - it is a sulfate free hairspray which gives shine, volume and extra hold to your hair. I am pretty impressed with the ingredients of these hairspray - the keratin, the argan  and grape seed oil, really feed the hair and make it shine. It is a really good product and I really liked it when I first used it. It is available at Wallgreens for $8.29

5. Starlooks Lip Gloss- in the shade Guilty Pleasure. The formula is perfect: pigmented, shiny, not sticky and all and it lasts for a long time. As for the color - it is one of my favorites - so glamorous for the holidays yet natural and simple. I love it. Find the full size product here and get 20% off all cosmetic orders.

Those were all my products, now let's have a look on Anxhela's bag.

1. Starlooks Gem Eye Pencil - on shade Ultra Violet. I so love this pencil. The color itself is gorgeous and the glitter even more. It looks so beautiful and highlights her brown eyes. Definitely worth having it... and more colors are available here for $17.00

2. be Delectable from Cake Beauty Hand Cream - in the scent coconut and cream. It smells sooo good and cream is not greasy at all. I used it in my hands which felt very smooth afterwards and I loved it. I couldn't find a link where to purchase it so I am sorry :(

3. GlamGlow Powermud DualCleanse Treatment - GlamGlow has amazing products and I have heard good things about the powermud. I bet she is very happy for receiving it too. Find the full size here for 69.00 and let me know if you'd like a 30% off :)

4. J.Cat Beauty Wonder Lip paint - in the shade Mad Splatter. It is a pretty color for fall and winter. The product inside is very liquid-y but very pigmented and look beautiful on the lips. The only thing she noticed are the "marks" it leaves after a while. I guess that's why they call it a lip paint! I personally like it and I think it would go perfectly with a clear gloss on top. Purchase your here for $4.99

5. Same as my Be a Bombshell eyebase :)

As the tradition calls, here are our faces using Ipsy's products :)

I hope you liked it!

Xoxo, Marjana

Ipsy Glam Bag - october 2014

Hello my dear Ladies!
It is the middle of the month and this means big-pink-envelope in my mail box! At first I thought the theme was going to be something related to breast cancer's month, but it turned out to be different.

Ipsy decided on "Beauty Candy" theme!

The bag looks just like a giant chocolate bar but in turquoise color. It is shine and the fabric looks pretty strong . So DAMN perfect!!! As for the goodies inside, well let's have a look.

1. City Color Be Matte Lipstick is the first product I spotted. I have been too much into lipsticks lately and I was so excited to try this. It is on the shade Cappuccino, a very pretty nude color. The website claims that this lipstick lasts for a long time, of course it is matte. So I wanted to test it and it turned out to be true. The color is rich, pigmented, stays on for a long time, super matte but... a little bit drying (in the contrary of what it claims) and it is smooth on the lips. Well it is OK, I can always put some balm underneath it. Go check the other colors here - they are AMAZING!
Full size $5.00

2. Doll 10 Beauty - H2Glo Highlighter - First time I hear about this brand ( and I like testing new brands). I also have to admit, I own NO highlighters. I just do not like them. But this one is really cute. I like the soft creamy formula, the light shimmer and color Champagne. It contains skin-boosting ingredients and natural pearl essence which are a big plus for me. I do like the faint and natural glow it gives to my face. I received the full size product which costs $30.00 and you can find it here!

3. ECRU New York Acacia Protein BB Cream Beauty Balm for Hair - LOVE IT! I already used and it is amazing! It works perfectly. My hair felt so smooth, silky, shinny, healthy... A beauty balm for hair? YES, please. Oh and it smells so good...It is the perfect product for hair and my favorite of the bag. Ecru is the best for hair products! The sample I got costs $12.00 and you can find it here

4. Figs & Rouge Hand Cream - I don't have a lot to say about a hand cream...I love the packaging. The design on the tube is sooo Cute. The cream itself feels soft, not oily and OMG! It smells so Yummy and delicious... I got the Mango Mandarin scent and I wanna taste it :P (not really) Although I do think it is a little bit expensive for just 20 ml - $6.56 Check it out here!

5. Skyn Iceland Mini Glacial Cleansing Cloths - mmmm they are OK! They have a fresh soapy scent. Great for travelling and quick cleansing. They do wipe the makeup really well and fast. But they are expensive $15.00 for just 30 wipes. If you are interesting you can find them here

That is all for this month's bag. Ipsy knows what to send me and I like them. Here is how the lipstick and highlighter look on my face :)
I hope you like it and have a wonderful weekend Loves!
xoxo Marjana

Ipsy Glam Bag - September 2014

It is that time of the month again...
This is how I start all of my Ipsy posts right? well. almost...
This month's theme is "Street Style" and it is probably one of my favorites. The metallic bag with the studs is pretty chic and it fits perfectly with the theme. I must say the products are pretty good too.

 1. Hot Singles Eye Shadow by NYX - I received the color Rehab, an olive-y green color with some grey-ish . I love NYX products and their single eyeshadow but I am not a big fan of this color. Anyway the texture of it is really soft, blend-able and pigmented as well. I paired it with this gold shadow and it matches perfectly.
It is a full size product and you can buy it here for $4.50

2. Crown Brush Infinity Shadow/Crease Duet Brush is the first make-up tool I have ever received from Ipsy. I have to say it is very very good and super soft. I used it to apply the eyeshadow from NYX to create the look below, and I loved it. It blends the shadow very well and the crease side is very precise. I am looking forward to using it more.
You can find it here for $6.99

3. Pacifica Natural Water-Proof Eye Pencil - last time I had something from Pacifica I was a little bit disappointed, but this eye pencil is so damn good. It is soft, water-proof -for real - and the brown color "Fringe" is so beautiful. I applied it on my water-line and I was surprised of how good it looked. It retails for $11.00 and you can find it at Target or here

4. Don’t Despair, Repair!™ Deep Conditioning Mask by Briogeo - hair products are always welcomed to my collection. This mask claims to treat dry and damaged hair and it also contains some wonderful ingridients such as" argan oil, sweet almond oil, avocado, keratin protein, biotin and many other vitamins. I haven't tried it yet but I am looking forward to it. It is a sample size product but you can buy the full one here

5. And the last but certainly not least product in my bag is the CAILYN Art Touch Tinted Lip in shade 09 Basic Instinct, a very beautiful peach-u color perfect for fall. I really liked the  CAILYN tinted lip balm in Apple Pink and I am feeling the same about this lip gloss. It is really creamy, shinny, pigmented and it does not feel sticky. It is a full size product and you can find it here.

That is all I got and this is how I used some of the products on my face :)
Until next time,
xoxo Marjana

Ipsy Glam Bag: August 2014

Ipsy-time again my ladies! And as usually I am pretty excited about what I got in it. The theme of this month was "Beauty Schooled" which fits perfectly with the start of the school-year. The bag is really really cute; it is a white round bag with orange polka dots and it just like the classic pencil case that you can use everyday at school. Big thumbs up for the bag but now...let's go inside...

1.Absolute Lip Balm Grape is the first product  for this bag. First of all - the packaging is so cute and lovely. It has a very nice scent and the formula is pretty damn good. It is so moisturizing, feels so smooth on my lips and not sticky at all. I am gonna have to say: "I really like this balm!"
This is a full size and you can buy it here.

2. Forever Blush Sample Duo by Coastal Scents is the next product in the bag. I received the shades Fresh (Left) and Elegant (Right)Not really excited about this one honestly. I really do not like the way they packed these blushes even though they are sample sizes.  On the other side both colors are pretty and sooo pigmented...I can see myself wearing them a lot. You can buy the full sizes here and they are on sale :)

3. The third product is the Silk Kajal Kohl Eye Pencil by Lord & Berry. This is a very nice shade of black. The formula is really smooth and it is very easy to apply BUT it smudges quickly and wears off for a short amount of time. I would not recommend it for these hot days in Florida...
You can buy the full size here for $16.00

4. My number one favorite product of this bag is the Pores No More Pore Refiner by Dr.Brandt. This is an amazing primer. I used it a couple of days ago before applying my makeup and my face looked flawless. There were no pores on my way...I love this primer but inside this little tube is enough product for only two applications. :( and the full size product , which you can buy here, costs $45.00 !!! Use the code IPSY20 for free shipping and gift! :) :)

5. And the last product which I am totally loving is the Urban Decay Perversion Mascara. This is just not an amazing formula and a perfect wand but it is also a mini-size. We are supposed to change the mascaras once every three-four months and let's be honest ... we do not do that with the big mascaras because there is so much product in them . But besides that... this mascara is such a beautiful dark black and it makes my lashes look longer and with more volume - especially the bottom ones. It is worth it. Buy it here my ladies!

Well, after reviewing the products I give this bag an A-.
Thanks for reading me,
xoxo Marjana

Ipsy Glam Bag! - June and July 2014

Greetings my ladies!
Today I am giving you a double post of the Ipsy bags.  As you may have assumed I did not post the June one because I couldn't find it in the moving "chaos". So as soon as I got this month's bag I thought it would be fun to join both of them together and bring them to your screens.

June's Glam Bag

June's theme was Pretty in Paradise and the bag was designed by Rebecca Minkoff, which makes it more special in my opinion. My bag had three makeup related products, one hair care and one fragrance sample. My two favorites are the eyeliner and the brow-pencil. Let's get into more details, shall we?

1. The Shimmer Eyeliner by Nicka K New York is my favorite. I have the one in Blue and it is such a beautiful color. I think it is perfect for summer days because it gives your eyes an "aqua" feeling :) The brush applicator is so easy to use and you can draw the perfect line.
Full size - $4.99

2. The second product is the Universal Eyebrow Eyeliner by OFRA. To be honest I have never been a fan of filling the eyebrows - they are pretty good on their own. But let's be real, sometimes you really need some more "hair". This pencil draws very natural "hair" and the color matches me perfectly.
Full size - $13.00

3. I always like to have good hair products and Ipsy does pretty well on that. This month I received the
Sacred Tiare Anti-Breakage and  Anti-Frizz Styling Cream by Carol's Daughter. This cream does a very good job on smoothing frizz and my hair feel so soft after using. The scent is amazing also. The one I have is a sample but the Full size costs $12.00 Definitely not very expensive, give it a try.

4.  for Her by Realtree fragrance is the forth product. It is a mix of pomegranate, orchids and some other flowers which make it very fresh and wearable for these summer days.
Full size - $24.99

5. I am pretty sure you have heard about the NYX butter glosses. They feel so soft, buttery as you can tell by the name and the selection of colors is so pretty. I already owned the Eclair one, and I am not disappointed that I received it again because now I can totally send it to my sister who likes it as much as I do.
Full size - $5.00

All in all, amazing product as always. If you are someone who likes beauty, skin and hair care but doesn't want to spend much, I suggest you to visit the Ipsy website and subscribe. You get amazing quality for just $10.00 a month.

July's Glam Bag

This month's theme was Sensationally Sunkissed ! The bag itself has this beautiful hot pink color, perfect for summer and faux leather material with some half circles around. Really love this bag...as for the products inside it I have to say I have had better. But they are still good products so let's have a look...

1. The first and smallest product that my eyes caught as soon as I opened the bag is the 5-in-1 BB Advanced Performance Cream Eyeshadow Broad Spectrum SPF 15 by BareMinerals in the shade Divine Wine. This is a 12-hour color which not only has SPF to protect from the sun but it also has a super-charged primer. It is a little bit dark for my liking but I can work with it using it as a base and then applying some other shadows to lighten it up a little bit. The product has some brighten benefits and it also soothes harsh lines.
Full size $18.00

2. Second product is my favorite one. I am talking about the Tinted Brilliance Balm by Pixi Beauty in the shade Pretty Pink. This mini version is so cute to keep in your purse and it has such a gorgeous warm pinkish-rose color. I totally Love it. My lips feel so soft and moisturized after applying it and even when the balm effect is gone the color stays there.
Full size $14.00

3. Next I got the Hang Ten Dark Tanning Oil SPF 08. This is my least favorite product. It is water resistant and it has very organic and good products but I really do not need a tanning oil. Sorry...
Full size $11.99

4. When it comes to bronzing my face I go for a light one because of my light skin tone. This Sunkissed Bronzer by POP Beauty is the right shade even though it looks very dark. Apply onto the cheekbones, jaw line and forehead and it will give you that sunkissed look.
Full size $10.00

5. And the last product is another hair-product. Every bag I have received til now has had one and my hair-stuff drawer is running out of space. This one is a Soy Renewal Beach Spray Conditioning & Texturizing Spray by Sexy Hair. Not a huge fan of this kind of sprays but I think this one works fine and it is good for second or third-day hair, just to add some more texture.
Full size $19.95

And here is a makeup look I created with some of these products...

That's all. I am sorry if this post is very long but I really wanted to share both of the bags. Thank you for reading and have a nice Sunday!

xoxo Marjana
